The examination cell is the backbone of the autonomy and for the past 30 years it has taken the lead to develop a strong functional and successful system.The strong traditions combined with modern technology makes the heart of autonomy to function effectively in designing need based curricula,providing multifaceted learning experiences,through innovative and challenging program options . Choice based credit system,online testing,online results are some of the best practices in the evaluation system in practice.

• The aim of the cycle of examination system to lead students to students to quality and excellence. Each course will be evaulated through two semesters examinations and each semester has two periodical lists and an assignment as part of continous assessments (C.A)
• C.A.is closely linked with attendance; A unjustified absence will not be excused and if the students scores low percentage marks in C.A, and less than 90% of attendance, she is not eligible to appear for End Semester Exams and no test examinations is reconducted for absentees.
• Project work with research orientation is introduced to the final year students to encourage reasoning exploring of knowledge and to write a scientific paper.
• All out standing examinations or the previous year must be completed by the end of 3 years to get marks list with first class, second class - divisions.
• All the examinations will be arranged and announced by the examination cell. Students who have failed in an examination are obliged to repeat the examination and pass in it. the original marks list will be issued only after each semester no marks list will be issued thereafter.
• The academic council of St. Theresa's College passed the resolution to introduce revaluation from the academic year 2002-03. The application for revaluation should be submitted to the controller's office, within one week after the issue of marks list, in the prescribed proforma.
